Participants must be 18 years of age or older in order to qualify for the membership privileges offered by and through Golf Tournaments Online.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate in tournaments offered by and through Golf Tournaments Online.
Members will pay a quarterly membership fee of $25.00, which will automatically be billed at the beginning of each quarter.
Upon the expiration of any trial period (which is extended to all participants joining after the beginning of each quarter) no refunds will be granted. Upon expiration of the trial period, active members will automatically be billed the quarterly membership fee unless they have chosen to opt out.
The opt out option must be submitted to Golf Tournaments Online in writing via fax or email.
Members may enroll in all tournaments offered by Golf Tournaments Online, but it is only mandatory to participate in 1
tournament per month to maintain membership.
If the requirements of item 5 are not met, membership will be canceled and the quarterly membership fee will not be refunded.
Participants entering a tournament must pay the $25.00 entry fee at the time of registration but may withdraw for a refund within 48 hours of the tournament date.
No refunds will be issued within 48 hours of the registered tournament.
It is the sole responsibility of the member-participant to check for inclement weather conditions prior to 48 hours of the tournament date. We have provided a link to
weather.com.
All payments to enter tournaments will be made using a valid credit card.
Participants are required to have a verifiable handicap index through
ghin.com or
golfnet.com. If a potential member has a verifiable handicap through another source, please contact us and we will research and consider adding the source to our verification process and allow membership.
Participants must play their round of golf on the date of the registered tournament through Golf Tournaments Online.
The participant must play the round of golf at a golf course with a verifiable slope rating.
Posted scores must be verifiable within 5 days of the tournament date in order for the score to be eligible for the winnings associated with the same.
Scores must be posted on the Golf Tournaments Online website by
midnight Eastern Standard Time (EST), on the date of the tournament that the participant is registered for.
Participants playing alone are not eligible to participate in tournaments offered by and through Golf Tournaments Online.
Professional golfers are not eligible to participate in Golf Tournaments Online. Tournaments are designed for the sole purpose of playing the recreational game of golf in the spirit of friendly competition amongst kinsmen of the sport, within regulated flights.
A minimum of 5 players is required in each flight in order for the tournament to run within that given flight.
If the minimum number of entries within a flight has not been met by midnight of the day prior to the tournament, participants of that flight will be given a credit towards a future tournament.
Golf Tournaments Online reserves the right to verify scores using a variety of measures that include, but are not limited to: verbal verification at the players registered course by contacting players that took part in the round with the participant,
golfnet.com,
ghin.com and any other source that establishes validity to scores entered and protects the integrity of each tournament and Golf Tournaments Online. If a score is posted that
is 5 shots less than a participant’s handicap index, verbal verification will be required.
Golf Tournaments Online will disqualify scores that are not verifiable. If a member, upon our request, is not willing to provide the information needed to verify a score; they will automatically be disqualified from the tournament and membership will be revoked.
Golf Tournaments Online will disqualify a participant for fraudulently submitting a false score and revoke membership for such cause.
Pursuant to item 23, Golf Tournaments Online has the right to file criminal charges if fraud is suspected and provable.
Golf Tournaments Online has the right to refuse membership as well as to remove membership rights at its own discretion for the purpose of protecting the integrity of its mission and operation.
Pursuant to IRS law, a
W-9 form must be filled out and winnings disclosed.

Membership and Registration will require the participant’s legal name, with a field set for privacy protection and the participants playing name.
Golf Tournaments Online reserves the right to delete, add, or modify any of the rules as stated above.
If a player has more than one handicap, the lowest one must be used.
